BLE 909 |
Description: |
The middle unit on the Hill Job was Bessemer and Lake Erie 909. I've wanted to get one of these units for a while, and today was my lucky day! This unit started its life as a SD45T-2. |

IC 6250 |
Description: |
Later in the day, the Hill Job came down again, but this time it was light powered as it crossed over 40th Ave. They came to pick up some emptys at the ore docks. The 6250 has really lost a lot of its color since I last saw it a few years ago. |

Hill Job |
Description: |
As I'was coming down I35 into Duluth, I saw a loaded taconite train heading down grade towards the ore docks. So I made the quick decision to try and beat it to the docks. Thankfuqly, I made it in time, and was able to get this shot. Little did I know at the time, but I knew the engineer! The engineer is none other then John Tuttle who used to work outof New Brighton last year as a conductor. This was quite the colorful lashup too! |
